Mary
Watkins, D.C.
“I chose to become a chiropractor at the
age of 14. Even then, I knew I wanted to help people who were sick
or in pain. Chiropractic treatment helps the body heal itself
without the use of drugs or surgery.”
Dr. Watkins earned her Doctorate Degree of Chiropractic at
Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She has also completed
post-graduate courses in x-ray evaluation, orthopedics, pediatrics,
and a Master in Whiplash. She is a certified instructor for Back Safe
and Sitting Safe programs which are designed to help prevent employee
injury in the workplace. She founded Watkins Chiropractic in
1987.
Dr. Watkins is a past-president of the Lanier-Hall Rotary
Club and is actively involved in the community through the Greater
Hall Chamber of Commerce, Partners in Education with the City Schools
and McEver Elementary. She provides many community health screenings
and often speaks and writes on health issues.
