Stacey
Gaudio
Anyone
who’s had a migraine
knows how disabling these headaches
can be – the pain, nausea,
and sensitivity to light and
sound. Now
imagine getting a migraine
three to five times every week – for
one year. That’s what Stacey
Gaudio had to live with.
“For
one year, I could hardly function.
My head would be pounding so
hard I couldn’t think
straight. As a marriage and
family counselor, not thinking
straight isn’t an option. Every
time I had a migraine, I would
have to go home and go to bed. That was the only
thing that would make it stop.”
Stacey
saw various types of doctors
who ran countless tests trying
to diagnose her problem. “They
ran a lot of tests, and gave
me many different medicines,
but they were all useless.
The medicines had bad side
effects, and didn’t deliver
any relief from the pain. It
was very frustrating.”
Finally,
one doctor discovered the cause
of Stacey’s pain on an
x-ray. Stress and spinal misalignment
were causing the muscles in
Stacey’s neck to spasm,
which resulted in her headaches. “The
doctor told me I needed to
see a chiropractor.”
Stacey
met with a doctor at
Watkins Chiropractic. “She
did more for me in a very short
period of time than all the
other doctors combined. The
best part is, the migraines
haven’t come back.”
The
relief chiropractic has brought
Stacey is clearly evident. “The
people at Watkins are great.
The staff is very friendly,
they offer a flexible appointment
schedule, and best of all I
don’t have intense pain
like I did before.”
